Thermal press vs. relaxer: straight hair without the chemicals.
Both get you straight. Only one does it without chemicals. Here's the honest difference.

If you want straight hair, you've basically got two roads: heat or chemicals. A thermal press uses heat. A relaxer uses chemicals to permanently change the hair. They are not the same thing, and the difference matters for your hair's health.
What a thermal press does
A thermal press is a blow out plus a flat-iron press that smooths the hair with heat alone. It's not permanent. It lasts until your next wash, or until humidity gets to it, and your natural texture comes right back. No chemicals, no commitment, no damage when it's done right.
When to pick which
A relaxer is a bigger decision and a permanent one. A press lets you wear straight for an event or a season and go back whenever you want. If you're not sure, start with the press. I'll talk you through what your hair can handle before we do anything.
